Terms & Conditions

Tit for Tat is a breast cancer awareness event organised and operated by The Muse Foundation, a registered nonprofit organisation. The event includes vendor showcases, volunteer activities, tattoo experiences, and community programming. Participation is subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Participation in Tit for Tat event activities is open to individuals who meet any age or eligibility requirements specified for each activity. Tattoo waiver participants must be 18 years of age or older. Minors may attend the general event only with a parent or legal guardian present.

By submitting a vendor application, volunteer sign-up, or tattoo waiver form, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. The Muse Foundation reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. Submission of a form does not guarantee participation.

By providing your mobile phone number on any Tit for Tat event form, you consent to receive SMS text messages from The Muse Foundation related to your participation in the event. These messages may include queue notifications, event updates, scheduling information, and other event-related communications.

Participants in the tattoo experience must complete and sign a tattoo waiver prior to receiving any tattoo service. By signing the waiver, you acknowledge the associated risks, confirm you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, and release The Muse Foundation and participating artists from liability arising from the tattoo procedure. All tattoo services are provided by independent artists; The Muse Foundation does not warrant the quality or outcome of any tattoo service.

Vendors and volunteers agree to comply with all event rules, guidelines, and instructions issued by The Muse Foundation event staff. Vendors are responsible for their own products, services, and compliance with applicable laws. The Muse Foundation is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from vendor or volunteer activities at the event.

By attending or participating in the Tit for Tat event, you grant The Muse Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs, video recordings, and other media captured at the event for promotional, educational, and nonprofit purposes, including on our website and social media channels.

The Muse Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Tit for Tat event or use of any event services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the event shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you to participate.

The Muse Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the event following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee.
